Santa Brings a Lawsuit donation drive

Join the Grand Rapids Bar Association for its 19th annual “Santa Brings a Lawsuit” donation drive, taking place Dec. 4-22 this year.

They are collecting business attire donations including men’s and women’s suits, shoes, ties, skirts, dress shirts, and dresses.

This year the donations will go to Ferris State University’s professional clothing closet. The clothes will be available at no cost to the students on campus who want to look their best for a job interview, class presentation, or to wear to work for their first professional job.

How to donate:

1. Search your closet for unused or unwanted business attire;

2. Bring your items to the Grand Rapids Bar Association (161 Ottawa Ave. N.W. /Ste. 203-B);

3.   Place items in the blue bin in the lobby.

4. Donation receipts are available for your taxes.

Sponsors of this year’s drive are Schnelker, Rassi and McConnell, PLC, Attorneys and Counselors (as in past years), 1-800-DryClean.com, and Goodwill Industries.
