On September 10, Bodman PLC hosted the monthly meeting of the African-American Partners’ Collaborative at its Detroit office at Ford Field. The meeting featured a panel discussion on diversity in the legal profession and in legal education, and included the deans of all five of Michigan’s law schools and members of their senior staffs.

Also participating but not pictured was University of Detroit Mercy School of Law Dean Phyllis Crocker.

The African-American Partners’ Collaborative is an organization comprising partners, principals, members, and other senior attorneys at large metropolitan Detroit law firms who seek to increase the number of African-American attorneys at firms, as well as improve opportunities for them to succeed professionally and participate in firm management.
