The threat of a snowstorm did not keep judges and lawyers from gathering in the Cooley Center Lobby on January 19th to attend the first Ingham County Bar Association (ICBA) Meet the Judges Reception.
Twenty-six judges from District, Circuit, Court of Appeals, the Michigan Supreme Court and the US District Court Western District attended. While most were from Ingham County, there were also judges from Eaton, and Clinton/Gratiot Counties. They mingled with the 124 lawyers present.
The Hon. Clinton Canady, Mary Chartier and C. Mark Hoover, members of the ICBA Membership Committee, organized the event. Twenty new members joined ICBA.
