17th Annual Otis M. Smith Scholarship Banquet
On Friday, March 29, 2013, the Davis-Dunnings Bar Association (DDBA) will hold its 17th Annual Otis M. Smith Scholarship Banquet at the Eagle Eye Golf Club. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception. The dinner and program start promptly at 6:30 p.m. The DDBA is a special interest bar association whose mission includes various forms of outreach to the underserved and under-represented members of the greater Lansing community.
As in the past, in addition to issuing scholarships to well-deserving law students, we will recognize four individuals from the greater Lansing community:
* Honorable R. George Economy, Distinguished Barrister
* Mrs. Paula D. Cunningham, Trailblazer
* The Turning Point of Lansing, Humanitarian
* Attorney Sterlin Mesadieu, Rising Star
The Scholarship Banquet provides an opportunity for us to recognize these laudable individuals. However, most importantly, it supports a great cause because proceeds from the Scholarship Banquet help fund the DDBA's programs and scholarships. Please contact the executiveboard@davisdunningslaw.com for reservations and more information.
