The ICBA Young Lawyers Section will host an event 5:30 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Cooley Law School’s Lansing campus, Room 911.
Christina Thompson, staff attorney at the Michigan State University College of Law Tax Clinic, accompanied by an MSU Law student clinician, will present “Reading a Tax Return for Lawyers,” breaking down a tax-return line by line, with helpful hints for attorneys.
Thompson graduated magna cum laude from MSU Law in spring 2012.
During her time as a law student, she participated in the MSU?Law tax Clinic for two years.
She is admitted to practice in Michigan and the United States Tax Court and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Taxation Section and Michigan Women’s Tax Association.
No matter which area of law you practice in, there will be a lot of helpful information.
Pizza and pop will be provided for attendees.
