LANSING, Mich. – Michael Sanders, president of Foster Swift Collins & Smith PC, was elected to the ABA College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers for the class of 2016. The college recognizes individuals who distinguish themselves as leaders and models in this area of law.
Sanders concentrates his practice on the representation of employers, insurance carriers and third-party administrators in workers' compensation matters.
He is included in Best Lawyers® in America since 2005 for workers' compensation- employers and is rated AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell.
Sanders is an active member in the community and is a member of numerous legal associations, including Michigan Workers' Compensation Agency.
He also serves as an adjunct professor of workers' compensation the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in Lansing. Sanders also instructs for Michigan State University's School of Human Resources and Labor Relations Department, teaching various worker's compensation topics in the Executive Education program.
