Lake joins Speaker Law Firm

Attorney Sandra J. Lake, who specializes in appellate practice, has joined the Speaker Law Firm in Lansing.

Admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, she also is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Appellate Practice Section.
Over the last 18 years, Lake has handled civil matters in a variety of areas, including: medical malpractice, legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, automobile and Michigan No-Fault law, commercial general liability, homeowners liability, premises liability, insurance coverage disputes, defamation, governmental immunity, contract disputes, and construction law.

She has represented her clients at both the trial court and appellate court levels; and prepared amicus curiae briefs in support of her clients’ various interests in both the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court.

Lake is a graduate of Grand Valley State University, and of WMU-Cooley Law School, where she was a staff writer of the Michigan Opinion Notes published in the Michigan Bar Journal; Moot Court Championship and Best Advocate.
