54B District Court Chief Judge Andrea Andrews Larkin has promoted Nicole Evans to serve as the new 54B District Court administrator. Evans had been the deputy court administrator since September 2011.
Evans holds a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and a master’s degree in public administration from Western Michigan University. Prior to her position as deputy court administrator, she served as city clerk for the City of East Lansing and chief probation officer for the 54B District Court.
Evans is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, for which she was recently reappointed to serve as a member of the Equal Access to Justice Initiative and Disabilities work groups; Ingham County Bar Association; and Davis-Dunnings Bar Association. She is president of the Zonta Club East Lansing Area - an organization of professionals whose mission is to advance the status of women through service and advocacy. She is also a board member for Resolution Services Center of Central Michigan, where she volunteers as a civil and domestic relations mediator.
