Several Ingham County attorneys and judges attended the first annual Legal Excellence Awards hosted on March 9 by the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel and held at the Detroit Historical Museum’s Streets of Old Detroit Exhibit. Foster Swift attorney Scott Mandel received the Excellence in Defense Award; Oakland County Circuit Court Chief Judge Nanci Grant and Wayne County Circuit Court Chief Judge Robert J. Colombo were honored with Judicial Awards; and John Hohmeier, Scarfone & Geen PC, received the Young Lawyer Golden Gavel Award.
