Fahey Schultz elects Mills as new equity member

Fahey Schultz Burzych Rhodes PLC is proud to announce the election of Helen “Lizzie” Mills as the seventh equity member in this firm of 15 attorneys.

Mills, who joined the firm in 2010, focuses on municipal law and labor and employment law. She has gained extensive experience in collective bargaining and in grievance and interest arbitration, as well as handling administrative claims involving the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Michigan Department of Civil Rights, state and federal wage and hour divisions.  She provides advice and counsel on issues municipalities and employers face: how to operate a business or provide for a community while providing first-rate, cost-effective service to customers and tax payers.

Named a “Top 5 Under 35” attorney by the Ingham County Bar Association in 2015, Mills also volunteers her time serving the legal profession and community, and chairs the Ingham County Bar Association’s annual pro-bono “Ask a Lawyer” event.  She also is the chair-elect of the Board of Directors for Highfields, Inc.
