Mary Chartier, a partner at Chartier & Nyamfukudza, P.L.C. in East Lansing, has been elected as a Fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation. Fellows are chosen because of their professional excellence and community contributions. The Michigan State Bar Foundation provides leadership and grants to improve access for all to the justice system, including support for civil legal aid to the poor, law-related education, and conflict resolution.
A summa cum laude alumna of WMU-Cooley Law School in Lansing, Chartier also is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a Fellow of the Ingham County Bar Foundation.
She practices criminal defense litigation in federal and state courts throughout Michigan.
