The Asian Pacific American Law Students Association at WMU-Cooley Law School’s Lansing campus hosted Diplomat in Residence Lou Fintor on June 5. Fintor spoke about careers with the U.S. State Department Foreign Service Office, both in the Civil Service at home, and in the Foreign Service Office abroad. Joining the Foreign Service in 2002, Fintor served as U.S. Embassy spokesperson in the Middle East, South Asia, and Europe. As Diplomat in Residence, his role includes sharing information on State Department opportunities to students and professionals located throughout the North Central Diplomat in Residence region.
