Several attorneys from Chalgian & Tripp Law Offices in East Lansing have earned kudos.
The firm is recognized as a statewide leader in elder law, estate planning, probate and trust administration, special needs planning, and probate litigation.
Doug Chalgian, who practices out of the East Lansing office, but represents clients throughout the state, has been named one of the top 100 attorneys in Michigan by Super Lawyers Magazine for the sixth time. In addition, he has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America since 2009 and recognized as “Lawyer of the Year” 2020.
Chalgian was also recognized by Leading Lawyer for his work in Elder Law since 2013.
Chalgian, who is certified in elder law by the National Elder Law Foundation and is a Fellow with the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, practices in the areas of elder law and probate litigation, including litigation involving the exploitation of vulnerable adults.
David Shaltz has been selected as a Super Lawyer by Michigan Super Lawyers Magazine for the fifth consecutive year in a row and also by Leading Lawyers for his work in Elder Law for the fourth consecutive year.
Shaltz is recognized statewide as an expert on Michigan’s Medicaid program. He is a frequent trainer on elder law topics for community groups, nonprofit organizations that serve older and disabled persons and professional organizations.
In addition to elder law, his practice includes complex litigation and appeals of state administrative law issues.
Daniel S. Hilker has been named a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers Magazine.
Hilker concentrates is practice in the areas of probate litigation, estate and trust administration, elder law and estate planning.
John Bos has been selected as a Super Lawyer by Michigan Super Lawyers Magazine for the 13th consecutive year. Bos was by recognized by Leading Lawyers for the 7th consecutive year for Elder Law. He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for 24 years and has been practicing estate planning and elder law since 1964.
Susan L. Chalgian has been named a Rising Star for by Michigan Super Lawyers Magazine. She concentrates her practice in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Long Term Medicaid planning.
In additional news, colleagues in the firm’s Jackson and Detroit offices also earned various honors.
