NALS of Jackson County held a special luncheon on Wednesday of last week to announce its selections for its “Boss of the Year” and “Legal Professional of the Year” awards.
Winners were Roger Thome, ACRO Legal Support Services, nominated by Jodi Snyder, and Jennifer Meade, Certified Electronic Court Recorder, nominated by District Court Judge Darryl Mazur, her supervisor at the 12th District Court in Jackson.
In addition to her courtroom duties and transcribing, Meade serves as a judicial secretary to Judge Mazur, performing a variety of clerical functions.
The keynote address at the event was given by attorney Allison Bates of Brandt and Dehncke PLLC.
