Company planning to invest in SmartZone facility
Technique, Inc. is planning to consolidate its operations into a new $12 million facility to be built on a 14.3 acre site in the Jackson Technology Park SmartZone.
The project is expected to consolidate about 50 jobs from all three of the Technique facilities in a new 110,000 square foot facility.
"Over the past two years, we have worked closely with the City of Jackson and The Enterprise Group to find a facility that will accommodate our growth requirements," said Ronnie Johncox, president of Technique, Inc. "Our preference would have been to expand our existing headquarters in the city; however, state and federal regulatory issues have prevented that from happening. We have looked at many sites between Jackson and northern Indiana and the Jackson Technology Park SmartZone is our first choice for consolidated relocation."
Technique, Inc. is a global leader in prototype manufacturing of metal stampings, industrial tube bending, laser cutting services, and is the largest supplier of chassis components to the teams of NASCAR.
