Jackson County Sheriff Steve Rand will host a golf outing on Friday, July 17 at Calderone Golf Club, 4490 Willis Road, in Grass Lake, a course designed by world famous golf architect Bill Newcomb and offering a British Open kind of golf experience along with a traditional feel on the back nine.
The day will get under way with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
The cost of $70 per person includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, coffee and donuts, and a steak dinner. The cost for a team is $280.
Door prizes include a Glock handgun.
Sponsorships are available and include hole sponsors, $100 Bronze Star sponsors, $250 Silver Star sponsors, and $500 Gold Star sponsors.
The entry deadline is July 10.
