Jamming for Justice

The Southeastern Dispute Resolution Service hosted its second Jamming for Justice fundraiser on Jan. 30 at Hooligan’s Grill in Adrian. Last year’s event was held at the Jackson Symphony Hall. This year’s entertainment highlighted four bands: Alias, with volunteer mediator Mark Murray on skins; No Conflict, with Lenawee County Probate Judge Gregg Iddings on lead guitar; local therapists “Mike and Nick”; and Bad Penny, with Jackson District Judge Dan Goostrey on skins. The event raised several thousand dollars, to be put towards mediation, conflict resolution and restorative justice programming.
