The State Bar of Michigan Representative Assembly honored Jerrold Schrotenboer with an Unsung Hero Award at the Sept. 22 SBM Annual Meeting in Grand Rapids. Schrotenboer (left), Chief Appellate Attorney and Special Assistant Attorney General at the Jackson Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, was presented with the award by Jackson attorney Megan A. Smith and Daniel D. Quick, who was chair of the State Bar Representative Assembly. Schrotenboer, who was nominated by Jackson attorney Jennifer Lamp, was recognized for giving back to the legal profession through coaching, mentoring, being a resource to others, and hundreds of hours of pro bono work and volunteerism. He has spent countless hours talking, training, helping, and mentoring law students, paralegals, attorneys and others.
