The Michigan State Police Jackson Post will hosts its second annual post Open House from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 16 for community members interested in touring the Post and learning more about the services provided by the MSP.
Visitors will be able to meet troopers as well as members from the Emergency Support Team, Marine Division, Canine Team, Motor Unit, Aviation Unit–Helicopter, Computer Crimes Unit, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division, MSP Dispatch, and other State specialty teams.
In addition to interactive displays set up by department specialty teams/divisions, activities will include post tours, demonstrations, Dunk-A-Cop dunk tank, and a small historical patrol car display. Child Safety Identification kits will be available.
Recruiters will be present to answer questions regarding the application process for people interested in a career with the MSP.
