The Diocese of Lansing Catholic Lawyers Guild Annual Red Mass will be held at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at St. Mary Cathedral, Lansing. A dinner reception will follow.

Carl W. Herstein, parishioner at St. Mary Student Parish in Ann Arbor, will be presented the prestigious St. Thomas More Award. He has served as president of the Michigan Supreme Court Historical Society, and is former chairman of the Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County. Herstein also is a former board member of the Sphinx Organization and is a fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation.
