The Jackson Area Estate Planning Council held its monthly meeting on March 11 at Bella Notte Ristorante in downtown Jackson. Christopher W. Smith, an attorney with the Southfield office of Chalgian & Tripp Law Offices PLLC, and chair of the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section for the State Bar of Michigan, was the guest speaker and spoke about the Michigan Uniform Directed Trust Act.
