Earlier in April, two articles appeared in the Legal News (4/1/21) which deserve comment.
The first highlighted the work of Michigan State University Law School Professor David Favre as a member of the ABA’s International Animal Law Committee on an international animal welfare treaty.
The second article appears on the second page of the Legal News under the title, ”Help support the Jackson County Council for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect.”
The activities and programs upon which those articles are based are excellent.
While I do not know him, I hope that Professor Favre would agree that the basic and humane principles of these programs should be consistent with the welfare and protection of life of all human beings, both born and unborn.
