Macomb County Chief Circuit Court and Probate Court Judge Mark Switalski (fourth from right) hosted the latest in the series of Brown Bag lunches sponsored by the Macomb County Bar Association. Joining Switalski for the get-together in his courtroom were (from left): Andrea Irons, treasurer of the MCBA Young Lawyers Section; Rebecca Russell, court reporter; Anna Jokinen, judicial court clerk; Donald Denault Jr., MCBA board member; Chuck Trickey; Julie Gatti and John DeMoss, MCBA directors; and Brian Tinker, court officer. DeNault says the lunches allow area practitioners to get to know the judges and their staff members on a more informal basis “without enduring the rigors of court and hearings” and to learn as well the procedures, requirements or “any pet peeves” the judges may have.
