FBA members discuss 'important topics'

The Labor and Employment Law Committee of the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, recently presented a program titled “Two Important Topics and a Boxed Lunch” at the T. Levin U.S. Courthouse in Detroit. The two topics included “Federal Summary Judgment Standard and Motions” and “Facilitating Settlement in the Federal System.” Discussing the topics at program were panel members (seated, left to right) Deborah Barno with the EEOC’s Detroit Field Office, Kathleen Bogas of Bogas, Koncius, & Croson PC; and U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Virginia Morgan; along with Joseph Ritok of Dykema Gossett PLLC; Joseph Golden of Pitt, McGehee, Palmer, Rivers, & Golden PC; panel moderator Robert Vercruysse of Vercruysse, Murray, & Calzone PC; U.S. District Court Judge George Steeh, Eastern District of Michigan; and Gregory Murray of Vercruysse, Murray, & Calzone PC.
