Mount Clemens attorney Patrick Simasko (pictured) was the keynote speaker at a recent Continuing Legal Education seminar sponsored by the Macomb County Bar Association. In his practice, Simasko specializes in elder law matters such as Medicaid, Veterans Administration benefits and estate planning. The focus of the seminar, according to the MCBA, was to help attorneys assist clients in protecting their assets when moving to a nursing home as well as aiding them in obtaining veterans benefits for in-home or assisted living care.
