The Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, recently conducted a brown bag lunch seminar featuring Philip Miller (pictured), chief probation officer for the Eastern District of Michigan. During the program at the Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse in Detroit, Miller discussed processes and procedures in the probation department and how it works with both the government and the defense bar.
