The Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCSS) recently presented its Purple Rose Award to Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Richard Halloran (center). The honor was presented during the center’s 6th annual gala to raise awareness about domestic abuse. Halloran, pictured with event chairperson Siham Awada Jaafar (left) and WXYZ anchor and event emcee Carolyn Clifford, was recognized for is work in promoting programs to prevent domestic violence.
