The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law recently presented its McElroy Lecture on Law and Religion, featuring Marci A. Hamilton (second from left), Paul R. Verkuil Chair in Public Law at Cardozo School of Law. Hamilton spoke on “Children, Religious Institutions, and Accountability.” Welcoming Hamilton to UDM Law were (left to right) Associate Professor Julia Belian, Dean Lloyd Semple, and Associate Professor Bret Boyce. The lecture took place at Sts. Peter and Paul Jesuit Church and was followed by a reception in the UDM Law atrium.
