The Michigan Creditors Bar Association (MCBA) recently conducted a seminar on “Competing in an Environment of Compliance” at the MSU Management Education Center in Troy. Speaking at the program were Ken Wake (second from left), Charity Olson (center) and Don Maurice (far right). They discussed new government (CFPB) regulations for collection firms; recent state attorney general actions and FTC orders; how compliance and client audits can increase opportunities; and managing information security and vendor risk.
