The courtroom of Macomb County Circuit Court Judge James Biernat Jr. (fourth from right) was the site of a recent Brown Bag lunch sponsored by the Macomb County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section. Andrea Irons, section chair (second from right), said such get-togethers provide attorneys with the opportunity to have an informal interaction with the judge. In turn, she said, the judge and staff members can provide the lawyers with policy and procedure information specific to their courtrooms.
