The courtroom of 42-2 District Court Judge William H. Hackel III (second from right) was the site of the most recent Brown Bag lunch event sponsored by the Macomb County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section. Among those taking advantage of the informal gathering in New Baltimore were (from left) Donald Denault; Ryan Zemke, YLS director; Sandy Jarbou; and Andrea Irons, YLS section chair. Zemke said such events give attorneys the chance to have an informal interaction with the judge and the opportunity as well to learn from members of the judge’s staff the policies and procedures specific to that courtroom.
