The Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) recently presented a Medical Malpractice Seminar for MAJ plaintiff members only at the Westin Hotel in Southfield. Headlining the event was guest speaker Katherine James (third from left) of Act of Communication. Taking part in the program were (left to right) David Parker of Charfoos & Christensen PC; co-moderator Jesse Reiter of Reiter & Walsh PC; Chad Engelhardt of Moran, Raimi, Goethel, & Karnani PC; co-moderator Judy Susskind of the Thurswell Law Firm; Norm Tucker of Sommers Schwartz PC; and Marc Lipton of Lipton Law Center PC. Topics covered at the seminar included black letter law on issues like statutes of limitations, preparation of witnesses, recent decisions and current case law, fraud in medical records and updates on issues that matter.
