Care House recently held its 16th Annual “Christmas for Kids” fundraiser at Mac & Ray’s Banquet Center in Harrison Township. Care House Executive Director Dorie Vazquez-Nolan (center) said she expected record attendance of more than 450 people at the event, which featured food from area restaurants along with raffle packages and a live auction. Vazquez-Nolan is pictured with Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Peter Maceroni (left), who serves on the Care House board of directors, and Clinton Township attorney Anthony Urbani II, a Macomb County Bar Foundation director. Care House, based in Mount Clemens, provides services to child victims of sexual and physical abuse and their families. Since 1996, Care House has provided services to more than 6,500 families.
