The courtroom of 38th District Court Judge Carl F. Gerds III (center) was the site of the most recent Brown Bag lunch series event sponsored by the Macomb County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section. Andrea Irons, section chair (second from right), explained that the lunchtime gatherings give attorneys the opportunity to have an informal conversation with the judge. At the same time, she said, the judge and staff members can provide the lawyers with policy and procedure information specific to their courtrooms.
