The Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan recently continued its Breakfast Roundtable Series with “Dealing with Distressed Properties, Part II — The Lawyer’s Guide to Buying Distressed Property.” Among those taking part in the program at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham were (left to right) Tom Kabel of Butzel Long PC, and program co-chairs Cindy Ortega and Eric Starck of Miller Johnson. “In today’s market,” Starck said, “it’s clearly a distressed market. So from a practical perspective we wanted to present that to the section.”
