The Polish American Legal Society (PALS) hosted a general meeting recently at the Polish League of American Veterans Post 16 in Dearborn Heights. Addressing the PALS gathering was State Representative David Knezek (center). Knezek is a member of the House Education and Health Policy Committees, serves as an assistant Democratic floor leader and is the first Iraq War veteran elected to the Michigan Legislature. Welcoming Knezek to the meeting were (left to right) retired Judge Richard Wygonik, Mount Clemens attorney Joe Kosmala, Eastpointe attorney William Jurczak, Wayne County 20th District Court Chief Judge Mark J. Plawecki, Angela Marino and Southgate attorney Doug Hamel.
