The Polish American Legal Society (PALS) presented Matthew Abel (fifth from left) of Cannabis Counsel PLC at its recent meeting at Polish Village Cafe in Hamtramck. Welcoming Abel were (left to right) Mark Teklinski, Michael Dean, Wayne County 20th District Court Judge Mark Plawecki, William Jurczak, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge James Chylinski, Anna Witkowska, Kinga Gorzelewski, Thaddeus Kedzierski, retired Judge Richard Wygonik, Joe Kosmala and Joe Plawecki. Abel said he would speak about Michigan’s marijuana law, its history over the past five years, amendments to the law, pending legislation “and where we see this going in the future.”
