While spared the task of blowing out 90 candles, U.S. District Judge Avern Cohn did fulfill the traditional birthday mission in grand style July 23 during a festive celebration in his courtroom. Scores of well-wishers turned out for Cohn's 90th birthday bash, which attracted legal dignitaries from near and far.
