The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (MDTC) recently conducted its Winter Meeting titled “Preparing for Battle: Litigation Strategies and Tools” at the Troy Marriott. The day-long event featured various presentations. MDTC President Mark Gilchrist (far left), of Smith, Haughey, Rice, & Roegge PC in Grand Rapids, was among those welcoming the panel speaking on “Caging Reptile Lawyers.”?Panelists included (left to right) Matt Moffett of Gray, Rust, St. Amand, Moffett, &?Brieske LLP in Atlanta; Ingham County Circuit Court Judge James Jamo; Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Shalina Kumar; Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Mark Switalksi; and Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Ed Ewell.
