SOUTHFIELD (AP) — Michigan State University and Providence-Providence Park Hospital are establishing a new medical school campus in southeast Michigan.
The East Lansing school says the partnership creates the MSU College of Human Medicine’s seventh community campus.
At full capacity, the College of Human Medicine plans to have a total of 60 third- and fourth-year students at the campus.
Providence-Providence Park Hospital is part of St. John Providence.
The College of Human Medicine has community campuses in Flint, Lansing, Grand Rapids, Midland, Traverse City and the Upper Peninsula.
