The National Business Institute (NBI) recently conducted a seminar titled “As Family Court Judges See It:?Top Mistakes Attorneys Make in Litigating Divorce” at the Detroit Marriott Southfield. The course brought participants face-to-face with family court judges to help avoid mistakes and adopt best practices that will build a good reputation with the court. Speaking at the program were (seated, left to right) Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Kathleen McCarthy; program moderator Laura Eisenberg of Alexander, Eisenbarg, & Spilman PLLC; and Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Linda Hallmark; along with (standing, left to right) Wayne County Circuit Court Judges Susan Hubbard and Richard Halloran; and Genesee County Probate Court Judge Kay Behm.
