FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) — Federal authorities say two fugitives wanted in Michigan have been arrested in northwestern Arizona.
U.S. Marshals Service officials say 31-year-old Nathan Gidley and 20-year-old Jace Vaughan both were taken into custody last week.
They say Gidley was wanted by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office on two felony arrest warrants for criminal sexual conduct of a minor under the age of 13.
Authorities say Gidley fled Michigan to avoid prosecution and was arrested outside a home in Kingman, Arizona.
They say Vaughan was wanted by the Battle Creek Police Department in a homicide case.
Information surfaced that Vaughan was in the area of Bullhead City, Arizona where he has family ties and he was found hiding in an apartment.
Both men were taken to the Mohave County Detention Center and await extradition.
