A panel recently discussed “What to Do When Stopped by the Police” with students at Loyola High School in Detroit. Among those taking part in the discussion were (left to right) Todd Russell Perkins of The Perkins Law Group PLLC, Loyola High School Director of Advancement Bill McGrail, Loyola High School Principal Wyatt Jones, Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Michael Riordan, Robyn McCoy of Michigan Children’s Law Center, Loyola High School President Fr. Mark Luedtke and Detroit Police Det. Brian Fountain. This was the eighth event of its kind presented by the Michigan Children’s Law Center, Wayne County Circuit Court, National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Club, Community Social Services of Wayne County and City of Detroit Department of Neighborhoods.
