A FORUM featuring August primary candidates for Oakland County 46th District Court was conducted recently at the Southfield Public Library. The forum is the result of a partnership among the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA), the League of Women Voters-Oakland Area, and the Detroit Free Press that aims to sponsor judicial candidate forums for all contested judicial races in Oakland County. Helping to run the event were (seated, left to right) attorney Robert Badgley of Robert L. Badgley Attorney At Law and Detroit Free Press columnist Brian Dickerson; along with (standing, left to right) Mike Schloff of Michael D. Schloff PLLC; Western Michigan University Cooley Law School Associate Dean Joan Vestrand; Gerald Gleeson of Miller, Canfield, Paddock, & Stone PLC; and Jerry Burden of the League of Women Voters-Oakland Area.
