IN Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Leo Bowman’s courtroom in Pontiac this month, the judge’s staff presented hats, gloves and toys to Hannah Heebner (second from right), development manager at HAVEN Oakland County. Presenting the items they has collected were Bowman staff members (left to right) Victoria King, Christol Loyd and Alexa Schneider. HAVEN’s mission is to eliminate sexual assault and domestic violence and to empower survivors through advocacy and social change in and around Oakland County. HAVEN provides shelter, counseling, advocacy, and educational programming to nearly 20,000 people each year.
