DETROIT (AP) — An exhibit featuring some of architect Albert Kahn’s work will be presented as part of the Belle Isle Conservancy’s Deeper Dive event series.
Albert Kahn at the Crossroads: The “Lost” Belle Isle Aquarium & Horticultural Building Blueprints will open Feb. 17 at Lawrence Technological University’s Detroit Center for Design + Technology in Midtown.
Kahn designed the buildings that sit on the city’s island park. They opened in 1904.
The exhibit is to run through March 10 and will feature blueprints that had been privately owned.
