The Oakland County Adult Treatment Court (ATC) recently conducted its 51st graduation since its inception in August of 2001. The 252nd through the 255th graduates were honored last month with a ceremony and reception held at the Oakland County Courthouse in Pontiac. Oakland County Circuit Court Judges Hala Jarbou (far left) and Shalina D. Kumar (far right) presided over the graduation which featured (left to right) Cody, Alex, Timothy, and Stephanie. The ATC has served 703 participants to date. It offers a sentencing alternative for non-violent felony offenders with serious substance abuse problems.
