Police brutality examined at law school event

As part of Black History Month, the American Constitution Society at Detroit Mercy Law recently presented a program titled, “Police Brutality and the Black Community.” The program, held in collaboration with the Black Law Student Association, featured panelists Rodd Monts, a lawyer with the ACLU of Michigan, and Kathryn James, a civil rights litigator, according to Roeiah Epps, outreach director at the law school’s chapter of the American Constitution Society.
