Detroit attorney Bridget Hathaway, a candidate for Circuit Court judge in Wayne County, will kick off her campaign on Thursday, March 15 with a fund-raising reception at The Atheneum Hotel in Detroit.
The event will run from 5-7 p.m. and will include such guests as area judges Patricia Fresard, David Groner, David Allen, Ed Ewell, Thomas Hathaway, Melissa Cox, Alexis Glendening, Victoria Valentine, and Dana Hathaway.
A University of Michigan alumna, Hathaway earned her law degree in 2012 from Wayne State University, where she was assistant editor of the law review.
Named Barrister of the Year in 2017 by the Detroit Bar Association, Hathaway began her legal career with Flood Law in Royal Oak and for the past five years has been an associate with Bodman PLC in Detroit.
She became a member of the Detroit-based firm earlier this year, and focuses her practice on complex commercial and business disputes.
