The State Bar of Michigan Paralegal/Legal Assistant Section will host Cheers, Chow & Know-How, an educational and networking event, from 6-9 p.m. on April 16 at Pietro’s Italian Restaurant and Party House, located at 2780 Birchcrest Drive SE in Grand Rapids. Christopher Trudeau, a professor at Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids, will present “Swimming with the Sharks: Why Lawyers and Paralegals Should Use Plain Language.”
The Meet and Greet is open to both members and non-members of the section and will provide attendees with the opportunity to meet members of the section council and committee members, connect with local paralegals and enjoy free appetizers.

Another Cheers, Chow & Know-How will take place at 12:30 p.m. on May 2 at Harringtons By the Bay, located at 13890 South West Bayshore Drive in Traverse City.
